The 2017 Burgundy Vintage was well reviewed on release but even so, its reputation has only grown in the years since. The early rumors that it was a great vintage in white wine -- the best since the miracle that was 2014 -- have proven true. White 2017 Burgundies are just great.
But the 2017 Red Burgundies are turning out just delicious too. It was clear from the start it was a good vintage, and one that was excellent for showing terroir variations from site to site. But the wines are showing depth that transcends their early appreciation as tasty wines.
