Production is small, on the order of 10,000 bottles a year, and almost entirely Nebbiolo.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe farming avoids herbicides, and the winemaking is classic: fermentation in concrete, a maceration of around two weeks, then at least two years in large oak barrels, longer than the rules require, to tame the wines' youthful exuberance. Alongside the straight Barbaresco there are single-vineyard bottlings from Ovello and Cole and a Riserva.
