Hoppenot is a young winemaker who worked for in Burgundy and Beaujolais for Chapoutier’s Maison Trenel before spending time with Pierre Chermette in 2017. He farms organically and vinifies whole-cluster, and his wines are decidedly classical, and recommended to us by the Lapierres. This is a young vines blend of 2 Fleurie lieux-dits: Les Roches and Les Garants. Here a bit of minerality comes into play, as well as a touch more concentration and structure
