From one of Champagne’s finest Grand Cru vineyards, Girard Bonnet’s Mon Village Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut offers a refined and expressive take on Chardonnay. Made from fruit grown in chalky soils, this Champagne exemplifies the purity and minerality that comes from the region’s best terroirs. Girard Bonnet’s commitment to organic practices and traditional methods allows the natural character of the land to shine through, creating a wine that’s both elegant and full of life.

The wine opens with delicate citrus notes, complemented by subtle hints of white flowers and a chalky minerality that is the hallmark of a Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs. The Extra Brut style keeps the wine dry and crisp, with a fine mousse that adds to its finesse. It’s a Champagne that feels both refreshing and luxurious, with a clean, lingering finish that speaks to its craftsmanship.

Perfect for special occasions or an elevated evening, Mon Village pairs beautifully with seafood, oysters, or light appetizers like smoked salmon or goat cheese. Girard Bonnet’s Champagne Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Extra Brut is a sophisticated expression of Champagne, offering the ideal balance of freshness, elegance, and complexity for those seeking a top-tier sparkling wine.

Champagne

Champagne boasts some of the world’s greatest luxury brands with Krug, Cristal and, of course, Dom Perignon. But it’s also home to hundreds of small dynamic producers—farmers who grow their own grapes (often organically) and make (often with natural methods) tiny amounts of pure and absolutely delicious wine that reflect the individual personalities of their villages and terroirs. Toast with these wines, for sure. But also treat them like the great wines they are: taste, drink, explore!

Very Nice Aperitif

Light straw with tiny bubbles; nose is quiet with yeasty and mineral notes; palate is light, almost delicate with very fine mousse. Maybe best suited as an aperitif.
