'Les Plantes' is one of three single-parcel cuvees Lurton introduced starting with the 2019 vintage, alongside Le Plateau and Le Hameau, each meant to showcase a single facet of Durfort's terroir. Les Plantes is the freshness-and-fruit expression, sourced from younger vines and aged in a combination of clay amphorae (about 80 percent) and French oak. The 2020 vintage gave Margaux warmth, depth, and aromatic generosity.
