"The 2019 Siran has a very well-defined bouquet of pure black cherry and raspberry fruit, crushed violets and iris petals, and seamlessly integrated oak. The palate is medium-bodied, structured and crisp, with fine tannins, impressive delineation and plenty of freshness on the saline finish. One of the best Siran releases in recent years." -Vinous

"Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2019 Siran slips easily out of the glass with fragrant notes of violets, blackberry pie, fruitcake, blackcurrant pastilles and dried lavender with hints of kirsch and chocolate mint. The medium to full-bodied palate is packed with perfumed black fruit layers, knitted with a solid foundation of firm, fine-grained tannins and tons of freshness, finishing on a lingering mineral note. Punching well above its weight, this is a very impressive showing for Siran!"

"Tight and concentrated fruits, this is knitted down right now, more muscled than many in the appellation and will need a good few years to soften. Clear dark spice, the Petit Verdot is pulling its weight and making its presence felt not just in the fruit quality but the sappy nature of the tannins, springly tightly shut on the finish."
