Robert Parker 94 points"Yields were so low in this vintage, that Dancer opted to blend his top crus together, picking and pressing Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru La Romanée and 1er Cru Tête du Clos together, then doing the same with Meursault 1er Cru Perrières and Chevalier-Montrachet, before blending the must and fermenting to produce just under three barrels of wine. The resulting wine, released as the 2021 Vin de France OSKAR, is lovely, opening in the glass with notes of pear, toasted nuts, dried white flowers and confit orange, framed by a deft touch of reduction, followed by a full-bodied, ample and layered palate that's concentrated and racy."

Focus On: Burgundy

Burgundy has long been the world's most famous wine region. But, underneath all the prestige, this region can be hard to get to know.

While Burgundy offers many great trophies from top producers in well-known villages like Vosne Romanee and Puligny Montrachet, it also offers excellent values to anyone willing to explore beyond the famous names. Our collection– one of the largest in the U.S. – has plenty of both!

From the very basics of Burgundy's regions and wines to the specific terroirs of individual single vineyards--
everything you need to know about Bourgogne is just a click away!
