Located just 20 minutes from Florence, Carmignano is one of the few Italian appellations where Sangiovese is historically blended with French varietals introduced by the Medici. However, Locorosso (named after the original estate) is 100% Sangiovese, classified as IGT Toscana. From 10 hectares farmed organically, it shows wild cherry, tobacco, and spice with a dense, approachable character.
