The Bearwallow Vineyard, tucked into a cool pocket of Anderson Valley, offers the most immediately charming of their single-vineyard wines.

The 2020 vintage delivers pure red cherry, rose petal, spice, and forest floor, all wrapped in silky tannins and vibrant acidity. There's a whisper of stemmy savoriness from whole clusters, but it’s integrated and lifted. Compared to Rhys’ Santa Cruz Mountains sites, Bearwallow feels a touch softer and more open—but still structured for aging.

It’s Pinot Noir with clarity, detail, and no excess—a wine that speaks softly but leaves a lasting impression.
