Made in an extremely oxidized style reminiscent of many aged Spanish rosados, although this wine hails from Portugal. Nose has hints of aged Viura and aged Riesling (read: diesel like), and even Sherry, despite being made entirely from the Baga varietal. Little to no fruit whatsoever. High acid and even a bit astringent, with some residual bitterness on the finish. Interesting wine to be sure, but most definitely not of the same caliber as Lopez de Heredia's cult rosado, to which it has been compared in marketing the product.
