Intensely flavored but light on its feet, this Terrasses de Larzac has vibrant aromas of black cherries and garrique followed by lovely depth and balance on the palate. The Mourvedre is massale selection from Xavier Peyraud's family vines at Domaine Tempier in Bandol. No surprise, this wine is delicious now, but built to last 15 to 20 years.

From parcels in the Terrasses du Larzac above the villages of Puéchabon and Aniane. Blend of 50% Mourvedre (15 yr old, massale selection from Domaine Tempier), 30% Syrah (20 yr old vines), 20% Grenache (30 yr old vines).

Glacial limestone
VITICULTURE
Organically farmed by hand, including green harvesting. Recently began the embrace of the regenerative practices of year round cover crops and low-/no-till. All grapes hand harvested, transported in baskets and destemmed.
VINIFICATION
Spontaneous fermentation in tank, pump overs (frequency based on tasting) during the five week cuvaison, malo at the end of alcoholic fermentation.

Aged 13 months in 400 liter barriques
