"Disgorged in the first half of 2019 and based on the 2015 vintage, the latest release of Bollinger's NV Brut Rosé is showing very well, wafting from the glass with aromas of red apple, plum, yellow orchard fruit, white flowers, dried orange, ginger and honeycomb. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, broad and vinous, with a fleshy profile that's enlivened by delicate phenolics. Fresh, precise and integrated, this is showing very well." -William Kelley

"This offers ripe plum and nectarine fruit, with mouthwatering acidity in abundance, as well as accents of anise, tea rose and orange peel. Bright and finely knit, featuring a satiny mousse and good focus through to the chalk-laced finish." -Alison Napjus

"This is a beautifully rich wine, with good aging as well as great red fruits. Acidity is layered with a warm dosage, balancing with the fresher aspect of this wine. Drink now." -Roger Voss

Champagne
Champagne boasts some of the world’s greatest luxury brands with Krug, Cristal and, of course, Dom Perignon. But it’s also home to hundreds of small dynamic producers—farmers who grow their own grapes (often organically) and make (often with natural methods) tiny amounts of pure and absolutely delicious wine that reflect the individual personalities of their villages and terroirs. Toast with these wines, for sure. But also treat them like the great wines they are: taste, drink, explore!
