Before Tromba, I wasn't a huge tequila fan. Somehow, I made it through college without Margaritas.
But, Tromba converted me--hook, line, and sinker. Tromba is made by the man who used to be behind 1948 (read: very fancy tequila). So, here, you get all the good with none of the brand or ego of other tequilas--that's why it's such a great value. The Blanco is essential on my bar and it's great for all agave-based drinks. But, it's complex and delicious enough to sip with just a squeeze of lime and TopoChico over ice.
