VINEYARDSourced from three vineyards: Vigna del Velo, Vigna del Castello and Vigna dei Cipressi.SOILVigna del Velo is limtesone-rich, rich in minerals. Vigna del Castello has clay soil with sand in the top layers. Vigna dei Cipressi has calcareous clay with iron.VITICULTURECastello Tricerchi is currently in organic conversion. The five hectares of Brunello vineyards are guyot trained with a density of about 4,500 plantes per hectare.VINIFICATIONThe vineyards are harvested separately. 80% of the harvest is fermented in steel and 20% in oak. Fermentations are spontaneous with indigenous yeasts and macerations last at least one month, often using the submerged cap method, depending on the vintage.AGINGAged in large Slavonian oak barrels of 15 to 30 HL for a period of 24-28 months.
