Domaine Sigaut makes Chambolle for Chambolle-lovers. Organic farming from flowering to harvest. Natural-yeast fermentations, light extractions and minimal oak influence. A light touch throughout. The Sigauts have very good terroir, though not much of it. Their seven hectares include old vines in fantastic Premier Crus, like their seventy-year-old Sentiers vines. Their old vines dig deep into the limestone mother rock responsible for so much of Chambolles’ character. No wonder the wines are as profound as they are subtle.
