Aurelien Chatagnier, Le Cret Louison, 2019
is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
This single-vineyard wine was planted in 2007, and while Aurélien considers it to be one of his best terroirs, it was never classified AOC Saint-Joseph because the owner had not originally planted vines there, and was unable to request the appellation later. Aurélien does not know the official name of the parcel, but has nicknamed it Le Crêt Louison, in honor of the granddaughter of the owner who rents him the vineyard.
100% Syrah, 100% de-stemmed.
