{"product_id":"aurelio-settimo-barolo-rocche-dellannunziata-2008","title":"Aurelio Settimo, Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata, 2008","description":"This is a Barolo with real age on it, from Rocche dell'Annunziata, the La Morra vineyard best known for perfume and elegance and the one cru from outside the village of Barolo that Bartolo Mascarello puts in his Barolo. Aurelio Settimo is a small, very classical house that specializes in this single site, and its prices are very reasonable. (For a wine of this pedigree, that's the insider part.) The 2008 is one of the first vintages Tiziana Settimo made after her father Aurelio died in 2007, and she didn't modernize anything. The wine fermented on its skins with a submerged cap at a natural, uncontrolled temperature, then spent a year in concrete and two years in big, untoasted French oak casks that were 10 to 15 years old, with no new wood at all. The vines face south-southwest on calcareous soil, and the family's own advice was to give the wine 15 to 18 years, so this is a mature Barolo for drinking now. Decant it and pour it with a slow-cooked dinner.","brand":"Private","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":50524966682681,"sku":"NYC-[CNSN]-TTSUMMER0826-092226-93-9","price":109.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0125\/1518\/0601\/files\/Aurelio-Settimo-Barolo-Rocche-dellAnnunziata-2008-Red-Wine-Flatiron-Wines-Spirits-New-York.jpg?v=1790154353","url":"https:\/\/nyc.flatiron-wines.com\/products\/aurelio-settimo-barolo-rocche-dellannunziata-2008","provider":"Flatiron Wines \u0026 Spirits NYC","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
