The whites see very little new oak and no batonnage at all, spending twelve months in barrel and six more in tank, a recipe aimed at cut and definition rather than the fat, nutty Meursault of a generation ago. 2024 was a brutal growing season in the Cote de Beaune, with persistent rain, heavy mildew pressure and a short crop, but the Chardonnay that came through has real tension and zesty freshness.
