That means hand harvesting, plowed soils instead of herbicides, native-yeast fermentation, very little new oak, no batonnage whatsoever, and twelve months in barrel followed by six in tank to settle. 2024 was one of the hardest growing seasons in recent memory in the Cote de Beaune, with persistent rain, heavy mildew pressure and a small crop, and the whites that came through show purity and zesty freshness instead of weight.
