Planted in 1888 on i by Senator George Hearst, it is now the home vineyard for Bedrock. The farming is of course excellent and focused on preserving such an incredible heritage site while also producing their signature, balanced, structured, complex and absolutely delicious version of Zinfandel.

"The 2020 Bedrock Heritage Wine is a powerful, tannic wine. That's pretty typical for young wines of this site. Time in the glass brings out hints of red fruit, iron, blood orange, white pepper, chalk and earthiness. The raw elements are present, but the 2020 is not fully put together just yet.
