This rosé is built mostly on Trollinger (Schiava to the south) with cameos from Zweigelt, Spätburgunder and Portugieser, drawn from the same limestone, sandstone, and Keuper soils that feed his reds. The result is a dry, racy, gastronomic rosé with the kind of cut and detail you simply do not find in most of the category.
