"Brezza's 1.5 hectares in the original heart of Cannubi boasts a superb southeast exposure on silty, sandy soil. After a long one month maceration, the wine is aged for two years in Slavonian oak casks. This had a slighter frame than the estate's Sarmassa cru, with fine but still firm tannins and succulent acidity. Though not the most profound Cannubi, it has wonderful elegance with redcurrant, liquorice and sweet herbs carrying the finish."

"One of the best expressions from the classic Cannubi vineyard area, this fragrant red is all about finesse, opening with enticing scents of perfumed berry, iris, rose, chopped herb, baking spice and new leather. The vibrant palate boasts structure as well as an almost ethereal elegance, delivering succulent red cherry, crushed strawberry, cinnamon and licorice wrapped in refined tannins. Bright acidity lends impeccable balance."
