Valpolicella is quite probably the perfect pizza wine, with its fresh fruit flavors and gently floral nose. Brigaldara has been producing wine in the Veneto for almost a century, and for a number of years has focused on elegance and refinement rather than big, brash and fruit-forward wines. This is juicy and exuberant, with redcurrant, ripe cherry and crushed violets, velvety in texture, with lithe acidity and a ruby hue.
