The vines run across four gravel banks over more than eighty hectares next door to Mouton Rothschild, and the property has been in Rothschild hands since 1933, farmed alongside Mouton and Clerc Milon. 2019 was a hot, dry summer saved by cool nights and well-timed September rain, and it produced Left Bank wines with ripe fruit, real depth, and acidity that keeps them from feeling heavy.
