{"product_id":"chateau-duhart-milon-pauillac-2015","title":"Chateau Duhart-Milon, Pauillac, 2015","description":"This is Lafite Rothschild's next-door neighbour, farmed and made by the same team, and 2015 was a vintage that suited it. Duhart-Milon sits on the Milon hillside just west of Lafite, where fine gravel and wind-blown sand lie over limestone. The slope sits slightly lower and faces a bit more north than its neighbours, and the Rothschilds call the estate Lafite's \"rebellious uncle\": earthier and deeper, with a sinewy backbone. 2015 was a warm, even year on the Left Bank. The Cabernet-led blend (73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot) turned the warmth into precision and freshness rather than weight, which makes this the classical, structured counterpoint to the opulent 2009. It spent 14 months in barrel, half of it new, and it's still youthful: decant it if you're opening it now, or hold it another five to ten years. A bit of trivia for the table: the name comes from Sieur Duhart, who oral tradition says was a privateer for Louis XV before retiring to Pauillac. His house on the port inspired the label.","brand":"Acker Merrall \u0026 Condit [AC]","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":50607731081273,"sku":"NYC-A-ACINDIA0826-092926-20-8","price":109.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0125\/1518\/0601\/files\/IMG-4171.jpg?v=1790976317","url":"https:\/\/nyc.flatiron-wines.com\/products\/chateau-duhart-milon-pauillac-2015","provider":"Flatiron Wines \u0026 Spirits NYC","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
