A glass after Tuesday dinner doesn't mean finishing the bottle that night. Chateau Rieussec lies where the Fargues and Sauternes communes meet, next door to Yquem, and was classified a First Growth (1er Grand Cru) in 1855. The Rothschilds of Lafite have owned it since 1984. The south-facing vineyard sits on sandy gravel with some clay. Yields are tiny: one vine makes roughly one glass of wine. It's made mostly from Semillon affected by botrytis (the 'noble rot' that concentrates sugars and adds depth). The harvest runs six to eight weeks, from September into November, with pickers going back through the vines several times as the rot develops. Serve well chilled.","brand":"Acker Merrall \u0026 Condit [AC]","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":50820833280057,"sku":"NYC-[PVT]-PVT-ACELL-PEPE-101626-CRS2007375-ROW25-BOX 25","price":44.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"url":"https:\/\/nyc.flatiron-wines.com\/products\/chateau-rieussec-sauternes-2007-375ml-acell-pepe-pvt","provider":"Flatiron Wines \u0026 Spirits NYC","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
