This is the estate's flagship wine, almost pure Cabernet (98%, with 1% each of Petit Verdot and Malbec), aged 20 months in French oak barrels, 62% of them new. At 14.8% alcohol it's a big wine, but the producer describes it as \"sleek\" and mineral rather than plush, and built it for decades of aging. The estate is a young project, established in 2001, with select blocks redeveloped eleven years later, so this is a good chance to get to know a serious mountain Cabernet early on.
