It's a skin-fermented (orange) white built mostly on Chenin Blanc and Semillon with small parts Marsanne, Roussanne and Viognier, sourced from organic California sites across Monterey, Mendocino and Napa. The grapes are destemmed and fermented on their skins, which gives the wine grip and texture you don't get from a normal white, then it's raised in neutral barrel and tank and bottled unfined and unfiltered. Low in alcohol and endlessly food-friendly, this is the bottle to reach for when you want something a little different.
