Mark O'Connell's small, organically and biodynamically farmed Clos de la Chapelle, founded in 2011 in Volnay, makes this one with the same low-intervention approach as the rest of the lineup. The 2023 shows ripe red cherry and raspberry on the nose, with a lift of rose petal and a hint of earth; the palate is medium-bodied and silky, with fine tannins and the bright acidity that defines the cooler side of 2023.
