Pipelette changes with every harvest, and in 2025 it's 50% Cinsault, 35% Viognier and 15% Vermentino. The Cinsault fermented on its own, while the Viognier and Vermentino fermented together, all on native yeasts. The Cinsault and Vermentino vines are young, and the 30-year-old Viognier gives the blend some backbone. All of it grows on southwest-facing clay-limestone parcels that are farmed organically and picked by hand. The grower is Julien Mary, who spent five vintages working with Nicolas Renaud of Le Clos des Grillons, a former geology professor. After that he set up his own cellar in Collias, on the Gardon river about 30 km west of Avignon, where sheep graze the vines in winter.
