The En Levrette lieu-dit lies in Vincelles, where roughly 60-year-old Chardonnay vines drive their roots into thin topsoil over iron-rich limestone packed with gryphée (oyster) fossils. Topped-up (ouillé) rather than oxidative, fermented with native yeasts, aged 18 months in old oak with minimal sulfur — the winemaking gets out of the way of the site.
