Faiveley is an Iconic Domaine in the best sense of the term. They have both history and pedigree (almost 200 years and 7 generations old), but also innovation as current managers Erwan and Eve Faiveley look to the future.

Professional Reviews

Burghound

BH 93-95
"An exuberantly spicy and attractively fresh nose offers up notes of red currant, essence of plum and ample floral influences, all of which is surrounded by much more subtle wood influence. The refined and pure middle weight flavors possess excellent delineation and verve while delivering very fine complexity and persistence on the youthfully austere finish. Like many of the wines in the range, this is not especially dense but it is beautifully harmonious and well-balanced plus the dense but fine tannins should assure a long life." -Allen Meadow

Antonio Galloni

AG 94-96
"The 2017 Chambertin Clos de Bèze Grand Cru comes from two parcels. It has a charming bouquet of ebullient raspberry and wild strawberry aromas; hints of vanilla pod and rose petal lend complexity. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, gentle grip and a saline, oyster-shell-tinged finish that lingers in the mouth. This is one of Faiveley’s most impressive offerings in 2017. Superb." -Neal Martin

Focus On: Burgundy

Burgundy has long been the world's most famous wine region. But, underneath all the prestige, this region can be hard to get to know.

While Burgundy offers many great trophies from top producers in well-known villages like Vosne Romanee and Puligny Montrachet, it also offers excellent values to anyone willing to explore beyond the famous names. Our collection– one of the largest in the U.S. – has plenty of both!

From the very basics of Burgundy's regions and wines to the specific terroirs of individual single vineyards--
everything you need to know about Bourgogne is just a click away!
