One of the original domaines to begin bottling themselves (back in the 1940s), Roumier quickly moved into the very top tier of Burgundy producers. Specialists in Chambolle Musigny, they produced some of the most achingly pure and elegant wines from anywhere, and consequently the demand for their small production is enormous. Roumier's wines are strictly allocated, and we only occasionally acquire sufficient quantities to post online, so be sure to grab bottles when you see them!

It has an understated bouquet at first, needing just a few swirls of the glass to reveal red cherry and cranberry nose with purity rather than power.
