Domaine Harmand Geoffroy, Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru 'Lavaux Saint Jacques', 2014

$109.99
A very special wine that drinks like a Grand Cru, as this is considered a top Premier Cru and the domaine has vines here that are now pushing 100 years! A wine that is so inviting with its mouth-filling elegance. Burghound "Outstanding".

"The 2014 is extremely fine with red and dark cherry fruit, some subtle wood spice and powdery tannins to close. Extremely classy Gevrey. "Outstanding. The fresh and restrained aromas of dark berries, warm earth, humus and game scents display excellent complexity. There is once again fine punch to the tautly muscular and mineral-driven medium weight flavors that exhibit fine depth and length on the youthfully austere finale. This built-to-age effort will definitely require at least some patience. Well worth considering." -Allen Meadow
