Harvested from the Roxheimer Höllenfpad Grosse Lage. It's a steep south facing slope of loose, decomposed sand over red sandstone on the northern end of the Nahe and set back from the river.
Grapes are from the 2013 vintage, they were fermented in stainless steel, then aged in old stuckfass for a year before being bottled. It aged sur-latte for 5 years, and has a low 4 g/L of dosage.
