Unlike Envínate's pure-slate sites, the lower vineyards here are schist, giving way to gneiss and quartz higher up. The wine is 89% Mencía with about 10% old-vine field-blend varieties — Garnacha Tintorera, Brancellao, Merenzao, and others. Envínate's four-winemaker collective ferments whole-cluster in open-top tanks, presses with a vertical press, and ages a year in neutral French oak.
