The Lousas series comes from the terraced slate slopes above the Sil river. This village cuvée draws from minimum 60-year-old plots, planted at 400-600 meters on the pure slate ('lousa') soils that give the line its name. Mencía-dominant with old-vine field-blend varieties mixed in, fermented partly whole-cluster in open-top tanks, then aged in neutral oak and concrete.
