Burgundy isn't for the faint of heart. Intimidating both for its staggering top-level prices and complex site classifications, yet captivating like no other wine region in the world, it's a region that demands expert guidance whether you're a novice or experienced wine lover.
Luckily, our own John Beaver Truax has a Burgundy story, a recommendation and a favorite bottle for just about every occasion, and for the very first time in our history, he's offering to share his lifetime's worth of knowledge and insight with Flatiron Wine School. We're splitting his Burgundy masterclass into two sessions, tackling white and then red Burgundy with a guided tasting and discussion of how to understand, collect and enjoy the world's most enigmatic wines.
This class will begin at 6:00pm on Tuesday, October 17 and run for approximately 90 minutes as we taste several wines chosen by Beaver. Wines discussed in class may be available for purchase with a discount available to attendees only. Seating is limited. Due to the content of this class, it is not part of the discounted four-class season pass.
