On Saturday, March 9 from 2-4pm, we're excited to be hosting Théo Dancer, who will guide us through a masterclass featuring his Théo Dancer and Roc Breia wines as well as a selection of wines from the Vincent Dancer domaine. Théo Dancer, the son of Vincent, has been working with his father at the family domaine for much of his young life, and has recently taken the reins.
Théo has since started his own project, a culmination of the knowledge and experiences he’s garnered from working with his father. Going beyond traditional Burgundian varieties, Théo is incorporating Savagnin and Grenache, while keeping with some classics, including Aligoté and Gamay. With only four cuvées over the next seven years, these are the grapes Théo loves to drink with his father. Across the lineup, you feel Théo’s precision, while wholly experiencing the immense energy and confidence of a talented 23-year-old Théo.
South of the Côte de Beaune, Théo has drummed up another exciting project: Roc Breïa, a new expression of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Théo found great potential in an overlooked part of the Côte d’Or on windy West-facing vineyards in the Mâcon. The Bray area, which also includes Cruzille and Verzé, is one of the later ripening areas of the Mâconnais. This has proven the perfect opportunity for him to take on another challenge and craft complex, layered wines in a new region of Burgundy.

Tickets are $80, seating is extremely limited, and special pricing on the featured wines will be made available only to attendees. We hope you can join us for this exclusive event.

Focus On: Burgundy

Burgundy has long been the world's most famous wine region. But, underneath all the prestige, this region can be hard to get to know.

While Burgundy offers many great trophies from top producers in well-known villages like Vosne Romanee and Puligny Montrachet, it also offers excellent values to anyone willing to explore beyond the famous names. Our collection– one of the largest in the U.S. – has plenty of both!

From the very basics of Burgundy's regions and wines to the specific terroirs of individual single vineyards--
everything you need to know about Bourgogne is just a click away!
