{"product_id":"flavio-roddolo-barolo-ravera-1998","title":"Flavio Roddolo, Barolo Ravera, 1998","description":"This is a 1998 Barolo, more than a quarter-century old, from a grower whose wines are made for exactly that kind of wait. Flavio Roddolo's wines are introverted, brooding and intense by nature, and they need patience before they show their full personality. That's why a bottle with this much time behind it is worth having. Roddolo farms just six hectares on the Bricco Appiani hill outside Monforte d'Alba. His vines are 15 to 70 years old, grow on calcareous clay and haven't been treated with chemicals in forty years. Everything ferments on indigenous yeasts and goes into bottle unfined and unfiltered. The whole estate makes only about 20,000 bottles a year, and the Barolo Ravera shares that total with his Dolcetto, Barbera, Nebbiolo d'Alba and Langhe Rosso. This isn't a trophy Barolo. It's for people who want traditional Nebbiolo made by a farmer, not a brand.","brand":"Private","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":50525005414457,"sku":"NYC-[CNSN]-TTSUMMER0826-092226-250-27","price":129.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0125\/1518\/0601\/files\/Flavio-Roddolo-Barolo-Ravera-1998-Red-Wine-Flatiron-Wines-Spirits-New-York.jpg?v=1790154916","url":"https:\/\/nyc.flatiron-wines.com\/products\/flavio-roddolo-barolo-ravera-1998","provider":"Flatiron Wines \u0026 Spirits NYC","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
