The result is classically built Nebbiolo — rose and tar, sour cherry, dried herbs and sweet tobacco — wrapped around the fine, insistent tannins that make Barolo Barolo. It's approachable enough now to enjoy with a long decant and a serious meal, and structured enough to reward another decade in the cellar.
