"The Gadais family’s Domaine de la Tourmaline is located in the Cru village of Saint Fiacre. Their 2021 Muscadet is outstanding on both the nose and palate, with the beautifully maritime bouquet hopping from the glass in a blaze of breadfruit, lemon peel, ocean breeze, beautiful minerality, a nice touch of sweet nuttiness from the lees contact and a topnote of dried flowers. On the palate the wine is bright, precise and full-bodied, with a lovely core of fruit, excellent wet stone minerality undertow, zesty acids and excellent focus and grip on the long, complex and impeccably balanced finish.
