Vajra farms organically on the highest slopes of Barolo, in the hamlet of Vergne, and that altitude shows here: the wine is bottled young, with a whisper of natural carbonation, an off-dry finish, and the kind of crunchy red-fruit energy you almost never associate with the grape.
