"Medium pale red; this is less deeply colored than the Feudo di Mezzo, but just as vivid. Bright and very clean sour red cherry aromas and flavors are nicely accented by minerals and aromatic herbs. Finishes long and stony. A rather didactic, very Etna Rosso-like wine."
"The 2016 Etna Rosso Feudo is distinguished by wild fruit and forest floor. It also delivers an exciting note of dried basil or rosemary oil that pops from the bouquet with attractive vertical lift. This is a delicate, almost fragile wine (at least in terms of its aromas). But the mouthfeel is firm, tight and full of electric spark." -Monica Larner
