That makes a bottle with this many years on it an easy one to open without second-guessing. The vines came to the Hospices in 1979, when Monsieur and Madame Cyrot-Chaudron gave away their vineyards, several plots of old vines among them. The Hospices describes the cuvée today as a blend of six Pommard climats. The south-east-facing Les Noizons and Les Petits Noizons lead and bring volume and finesse. This one was raised and bottled (élevé) by Louis Jadot.
