Le Concis du Champs is a village-level lieu-dit on heavy clay soils at the southeast edge of the village, planted in 2005 at the famously tight Lamy density. Hand-harvested, fermented on indigenous yeasts, raised on lees in mostly-used 300L and 600L barrels for around two years and then rested in tank, this is Chardonnay that reads less like a village wine and more like a young 1er Cru.
