I Favati, Greco di Tufo Terrantica Etichetta Bianca, 2012

Available for Same Day Delivery (or Pickup) in Manhattan.
I Favati offers this very rare opportunity to acquire an aged dry Italian white wine. It has weathered the test of time very well! Interestingly, the wines are raised in glass vessels rather than the traditional wood barrels.

"The nose in the 2012 Greco di Tufo Etichetta Bianca is rich, almost verging on roasted nuts, as notes of ripe apple, dried mango, gingery spice, dusty florals, and undergrowth develop. On the palate, soft, almost-oily textures are offset by cascading mineral-infused stone fruits and young mango, as inner floral tones evolve over a buzz of vibrant acids. The finish is long yet also very fresh, as its fruit slowly fades. This is a perfect example of Greco’s ability to mature in bottle, as the 2012 Etichetta Bianca is sure to evolve for many more years in the cellar."
