This is a complex, Chablis-esque wine made from vines planted in 1862 (!!!) in soils of almost pure granite. It truly boggles the mind. It is aged for a year in 4-year-old 2500L foudre, imparting a more rounded structure but no flavors of wood; the concentration, acidity and extreme length make for a world class wine that, if it were grown in a region other than Galicia, would surely cost many times over what this does.
