Sauvignon Blanc is the heart of what Lieu Dit does, and we count them among the best low-intervention producers on the Central Coast. The 2024 comes from three Santa Ynez Valley vineyards (McGinley, China Blue and Grassini) on chamise shaly loam scattered with serpentine cobbles. All three are farmed sustainably and organically. It ferments on native yeast, partly in tank and partly in barrel, then ages in neutral barrels and stainless steel, so the oak adds no flavor and the fruit and site come through.
