A blend of 50% Macabeo and 50% Grenache Blanc and Gris. The Macabeo comes from 30 year old vines and the Grenache(s) vines are around 65 years old, on schist and calcareous limestone soils, typical of the village of Calce.
Fermented and aged in old, neutral oak casks/barrels, this is saline and crunchy, with slightly reductive notes of citrus (lemon, orange zest) and a flinty, smoky minerality.

This wine is for those who like things a little funky–– it's unfiltered and all-natural, giving it a lush acidity that's a touch volatile. Salt and mineral balance the whole thing out and make this a good bang for the buck.
